Remote Shell Privacy and Consent

Remote Shell is an administrative capability. Beacon’s beta workflow does not provide a separate end-user consent dialog or privacy screen. Establish the notification, authorization, and audit procedures required by your organization before technicians open sessions.

Use least-privilege dashboard accounts, restrict access to technicians who need it, and close a session when work is complete. Session URLs and browser diagnostics can contain sensitive session tokens; redact them before sharing support material.
